COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: Your privacy is very important to Kiteboarding Tampa Bay. We only collect the personal information that is needed to complete your order, and what you provide to us voluntarily. We only use PayPal for all of our online transactions, you can be sure that your transaction, and credit card information is handled by their secure servers.
PROTECTION OF PRIVACY: Kiteboarding Tampa Bay uses the latest encryption technologies to keep your personal information safe. Your private ordering information including your credit card number is encrypted using several keys for maximum security, including 128 bit SSL encryption, and your information is unreadable to anyone trying to access the site remotely. We have implemented physical, electronic, and managerial processes to prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security.
SALES POLICY: Use of kiteboarding equipment requires safety training. When purchasing any equipment and/or products from Kiteboarding Tampa Bay, you assume all responsibility for any damage/injury that may result from using this equipment and/or product in any way. Kiteboarding Tampa Bay assumes no liability for the use of any equipment and/or products purchased, and by purchasing lessons, equipment, and/or other products from Kiteboarding Tampa Bay, you understand, acknowledge, and accept this release of liability.
PRODUCT RETURN POLICY: Kiteboarding Tampa Bay guarantees its customers’ satisfaction. You will receive a full refund (minus shipping charges) for the purchase price of any unused product if it is returned within 7 days of purchase in new condition, and in original, undamaged packaging. Used gear purchases are sold as is, not eligible for refund. All sales are final for items on sale and after thirty (30) days of purchase. All returns must include the original receipt. You are responsible for return shipping charges on any returned product. All sales are final on any neoprene, bathing suit products, and items on sale.
LESSONS, RAINCHECK, AND GIFT CERTIFICATES POLICY: All lessons are pre-paid upon booking with Kiteboarding Tampa Bay to assure a time slot and the availability of an instructor and equipment. We do not offer refunds on lessons. In the event of a postponement or cancellation due to inclement weather or lack of wind, your lesson will be rescheduled to the next available lesson time. Kiteboarding Tampa Bay strives to get you up and riding safely and will do everything possible to reschedule your lesson promptly. If a lesson is cancelled due to weather or lack of wind, you will be issued a raincheck equivalent to the value of the lesson booked, mnus any time already accumulated. The full value of your raincheck may be redeemed for lessons purchased from Kiteboarding Tampa Bay for up to a year after the purchase date of the lesson package. Rainchecks, Lesson Gift Certificates, and any other promotional item or product made available by Kiteboarding Tampa Bay expires one year from date of purchase.
LESSONS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: All lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled by the buyer, with a complete refund, up to 7 days after purchase. Lessons cancelled within the 7 day cancellation period, there is a $100.00 per lesson/ per person cancellation fee for each person scheduled. (1-day=100.00, 2-day 200.00, 3 -day 300.00) We do not offer refunds on lessons for weather, missed appointments, or if any past of our training program has been started or already completed.. If your lesson is cancelled or rescheduled by Kiteboarding Tampa Bay, you will receive a raincheck equivalent to the value of the lesson booked. No rainchecks will be issued for cancellations or no shows within 24 hours of a lesson. If you fail to show up at the time of your scheduled lesson, or fail to call to postpone your scheduled lesson, you will forfeit the value of your lesson and will not receive a raincheck. If you show up late for your scheduled lesson, the amount of time you are late will be deducted from the total lesson time. KTB Instructors are available 7 days a week to serve you, and make every effort to accommodate the schedules of our customers, please respect their time as well.
NO WIND LESSON POLICY: If we do not have adequate wind for the kite flying/ board riding portion of the lesson, you will be trained on kiting etiquitte, right of way rules, theory, equipment, and other topics related to safe kiteboarding. These are an important parts of out lesson plan, and essential to become a competent kiteboarder.

By visiting and/or using this site in any way, such as browsing products or placing an order, you agree to these conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms and conditions may change with or without notice and are effective immediately upon being posted.
When purchasing items from Kiteboarding Tampa Bay, customers agree that they are either an experienced kiteboarder or will take lessons from a qualified instructor prior to using our products. We reserve the right to refuse a sale or service to anyone whom we believe to not have adequate knowledge to kiteboard safely.
Kiteboarding Tampa Bay reserves the right to cancel products or services to any customer for any reason at any time. The customer's only recourse in such cases will be the refund of any unused funds Kiteboarding Tampa Bay has collected in reference to the cancelled products and/or services.
Kiteboarding Tampa Bay attempts to provide current and accurate information on its web site. Kiteboarding Tampa Bay does not, however, warrant that this information is correct, accurate or complete. Information communicated by Kiteboarding Tampa Bay is not a contract, and should not be treated as such. The only recourse of a customer acting on incorrect product information is to request a cancellation of the order placed as a result of this incorrect information.
Kiteboarding Tampa Bay makes commercially accepted best efforts to maintain the security of customer transactions, its liability in cases of third party theft or misuse is limited to the funds which Kiteboarding Tampa Bay has already collected in reference to the customer's most recent order.
