Check out this download of a kitesurfing simulation game!

Steering and (de)power using the mouse. Read controls.txt for a full explanation of the controls.
Download the .zip file from the link below. There are 2 .exe files in there, kitegame.exe is the standard game, kitegamelowq has a lower graphics setting to allow older computers to run it. Currently it only works on Windows PC's or emulators.

On startup, you will probably be asked to block or unblock network access. If you are not planning to use multiplayer, you can keep blocking. Note that multiplayer has only been tested on local networks, on which it is far easier to set up.

There are no guaranties that it will work on all computers, but for those who can get it working; have fun!

MULTIPLAYER
To add someone, add a line to playerlist.txt with the name and IP address of the other.
eg:
ip: 12.34.56.78 piet
If both players are on a local network, find your own IP Address by start-> run-> "cmd" -> ipconfig. IPv4 Address is what you need.

If both players are not on a local network, find your ip via eg http://whatismyip.org/
Next, on your router forward port 5555. Search on google "port forwarding", possibly with your type of router there.
NOTE: multiplayer outside a local network has not been tested, but it could work.

CHANGE KITEFILE
The game opens the file kite.k as the default kite. To use another kite design, change to name of the files, such that your file is called kite.k.
The same goes for the texture on the kite, for which the default file is kitetexture.bmp. Note that texture must be 256x256, 24 bit bitmaps.
