Replace a Bladder Valve

kitesurf-lessons-tampa-st-petersburg-clearwater-floridaGot a leaky kite? Its probably a valve peeling off the kite's internal bladder, and is usually an easy fix. Check out the video below from Airtime on how to replace a valve.

Tips For Removing The Bladder Valve:

To remove the old valve, soak the valve in HOT (not boiling) water for several minutes. An easy way to do this is to use a coffee cup and microwave a cup of water for 2 minutes. Let the valve soak in the hot water for a few minutes to help soften the glue. Then, carefully peel off the damaged valve. Make sure to take your time, as you don't want to damage the kites bladder or leave any residue from the old glue.
