Eighty Percent of our instruction is done at the Beginner to Intermediate level. This is a crucial time for the rider to develop form, an understanding of how the wakeboard reacts, and a better feel and respect for the water.
Your first lesson will instruct you on the wakeboard, safety equipment and then how to get up on the wakeboard. After successfully standing up what to do next is up to you.
We recommend your first lesson to be a half day. In our First Time Rider Program the cost is $199.00, which includes a half day of instruction and all required equipment.
We have a safety standard of 2 crew members per boat, with 4 riders of the same level for that days lessons. We do not place advance riders with beginner riders.
All your equipment is provided. This includes a Life Vest (Coast Guard Approved) Wakeboard and Bindings, everything you would need to maximize your lesson. Bring anything you like such as a snack, cold beverage, sunglasses and hat.
Kids are welcome. We eagerly encourage them to try this easy to learn sport. The best age to start lessons is age 9 and up. At this age we see the rapid progression. Once a child can stand up, they will be hooked on wakeboarding.
